[A thankfully uneventful day, and here Vietnam is taking a break after she has finished a whole bunch of paperwork that she brought along with her to the Citadel (just a bunch of trade agreements she had to re-read for a meeting the next day with Japan and other politicians). With all of that done, she can afford to take a break, and maybe a bit of a walk around the area. It's a nice, almost peaceful place, despite the situation that the Saniwa and swords find themselves in. Which is why she (and Japan and the rest of the family), find it comforting to come visit from time to time.

During her break, she decides that it's time she catches up with Yamabagiri. Locating him in his room, she knocks twice before entering.]

Yamanbagiri? I hope I am not interrupting?

[He closes his eyes again and let out a content sigh. His hand tensed for a moment, before he relaxes it and let go of his hood. Right now, he feels comfortable enough to leave his hood off.]

It's nice...

[It's definitely a step forward for him if he's letting go of his hood, relaxing instead. This relaxes her in turn, and gives her more confidence to run her fingers further through his hair.

That does leave a single hand to take one of his now free hands and hold it.]

[How soothing. When she take his free hand, he lightly rub his thumb against her hand. With his other hand, he raise it and pause, before he reaches out to caress Vietnam's cheek.]

[This is nice, letting herself take in the touch of his hand on hers, or his touch on her cheek. She leans her head into his palm, resting it just gentle, before turning slightly just to leave a kiss on his wrist.]

[It's really nice. It's fortunate that he's free right now, so he can be content to spend his time like this. Alone with Vietnam and sharing these small gestures.

Alone...

A thought graces his mind and he pauses. His eyes looks to the side, looking a bit shy and embarrassed by whatever he's thinking of.]

[hoasen]

[The pause was enough, she could feel it. And then she turns her eyes to properly look at him, catching him just as he turns his head, watching his expression change.]

Is something the matter?

[He looks back at her, before he looks away.]

Nothing. It's just... a thought I just have. [A pause, should he say it to her?]

[hoasen]

[She tilts her head now, trying to catch his gaze.]

A thought? Would you like to share it? [She's curious, but she's not sure yet if she should push.]

[He opens his mouth, as if to answer her. But he closes it and his blush deepens.]

... We're alone right now. So I was thinking if you don't mind if we... get more intimate?

[Please don't make him actually say it more bluntly than that.]

[hoasen]

[She listens patiently and then just falls quiet.

Oh. Oh. No wonder he looks self conscious. It's bold for him, but she kind of likes that. He really doesn't put himself out there as much as he has the ability to, because of his own critical nature.

But if he's actually saying this...]

You are right. [Her hands now drift to rest on his chest as she pushes up on her toes.] How much more intimate do you want us to get?

[It's because of his critical nature that he went back and forth between hiding himself, and stepping forward to prove himself. But for something personal and intimate like this, where it includes another person's personal space and comfort, he hesitated.

Her hands are on his chest, and she would feel his breathing there.]
