But alright, he'd never be the leader of his swim team if he didn't have a single backbone in his body, even if he so often loses it in the face of ghosts or equally spoopy paranormal creatures that go bump in the night. Blame it on his younger siblings' soft spot for horror flicks.
On that note, though: kittens. In particular, kittens with soft, wet noses and cute, tiny paws and ears that flick at the slightest sound. He's so lost in the thought that he's holding her hand with just as much fervor all the way up to the cat café, at which point he startles. Not enough to reflexively jerk out of her grip (that's rude yo), but enough to just let it hang there?!? why ]
